![]() ![]() From there you will need to simply orient the board and it will work fine. This will send the orientation screen to the second display (the Smart Board). After this I find it helpful to click the orient button (located at the top right of the Smart Settings box) and hit the space bar on your computer keyboard. You will need to click on the radio box at the bottom next to the phrase “Touch Settings for multiple displays.” When you have clicked the button and see the check mark, click OK. In that menu you will need to pick the second option, Smart Hardware Settings. Choose Smart Settings from the pop up menu and a new window will pop up. It is a light blue square with a white circle in the middle. To do this click on the Smart Board icon in the tool bar on the bottom right of your desktop. To allow you to write on the Smart Board you will need to adjust the touch settings. There will not be icons on that page, but you can put icons on that page by dragging them over. ![]() The Smart Board screen will change to show whatever is the center of your background picture. The drop down menu should say “Duplicate these displays.” To change to extend you will need to click the drop down menu and choose “Extend These Displays.” It will ask you if you want to save your settings, and you will need to click yes. From this you will see an option called Multiple Displays. To change the display feature you simply right click on the desktop background and choose “Screen Resolution” in the pop up menu. You must do both steps or the board will not work correctly. To change your view from this setting to the extend setting requires 2 simple steps: changing the display and changing the touch settings. If your monitor is set at an incorrect refresh rate, it will display a no. Most Smart Boards default to this setting, so when you turn your board on you will see exactly what is on your monitor. Update your drivers: Windows 10 supports multiple monitors by default.
